How to Apply to Become a Volunteer

As a Federally Qualified Health Center, KC CARE is required to complete and maintain volunteer files and to provide comprehensive training to our volunteers. To become a volunteer, you will be asked the following:

  • Complete a volunteer application and follow-up interview questions.
  • To provide current professional licenses/certificates, as applicable.
  • To complete a general Volunteer Orientation, as well as any necessary training specific to your area of interest.
  • For clinical volunteers, you must commit to a “twice a month” minimum.

Our patients rely on us to maintain a standard of excellence for their care. As such, we ask that volunteers contact Director of Credentialing and Volunteer Engagement Debbie Skaggs to apply.
