KC CARE’s Health Insurance Navigators are here to assist you with your Missouri Medicaid application. How to work with a Health Insurance Navigator 

KC CARE’s Navigators work alongside you to submit a Medicaid application online. Due to COVID-19, these appointments will most likely take place over the phone or using videoconferencing.

You can also begin to work on a Medicaid application on your own and then reach out if you need extra help.

There are four ways you can apply for healthcare coverage: 

 

Tips for After You Apply: 

  • You’ll get a letter in the mail if anything additional is needed. So, after you apply, check your mailbox often. The state will only correspond with you by mail.  
  • Once you are approved, you can use your insurance as soon as your next appointment.
  • Once you get your results, be sure to provide your new insurance documents to the front desk at KC CARE.
